Welcome to Little Brown Bear Academy
Little Brown Bear Academy, also known as LBBA, is your child’s home away from home. Established in 2009, we were founded on the belief that all children deserve a supportive and nurturing environment in which to thrive. We promote education through everyday experiences, with a focus on community immersion and interaction with the natural world. Our home-based program gives children the freedom to explore, learn, and grow in a safe, inclusive space that encourages them to be fully autonomous.
Our multi-aged classroom provides a wondrous environment for 10 children ages 9 months - 4 years.
LBBA upholds a culture where children can flourish as young learners, forge equitable and caring friendships, and celebrate childhood in a home-like setting. We respect and welcome our families as partners and make every effort to maintain a friendly, diplomatic, and inclusive environment where every family feels valued.
All of our Educators at Little Brown Bear Academy are licensed by the Department of Early Education & Care and maintain certification in Adult & Pediatric CPR and first aid. Our Lead Educators also hold Teacher credentials in both Infant/Toddler and Preschool areas.
Program Hours
We are open Monday - Friday.
We start our day with a smile at 8:00am and we say farewell with a wave at 5:00pm daily.
